Biel Chess Festival
The 49th Biel Chess Festival takes place at the Biel Congress House from July 23rd to August 3rd. The main attraction this year is a match (rapid and classical) between Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) and Peter Svidler (Russia). The top-seed in the Open is Svidler’s compatriot Nikita Vitiugov.
